Owls Searching for PA Announcer
The Forest City Owls are searching for a public address announcer for the upcoming season. Job responsibilities include public address and music duties for all 30 Owls home games. The position is paid and runs from an hour before first pitch until post game ceremonies have concluded.

Owls and KidSenses Present Owls Pals Kids Club
The Forest City Owls and KidSenses Children’s Interactive Museum have partnered to present Owls Pals, the official kids club of the Forest City Owls. Owls Pals is open to anyone ages 6 to 12 and is $25 per child.

Owls Add Three More to Roster
The Forest City Owls have signed three players from traditional powerhouses of both division I and Division II college baseball. Mike McKee joins the Owls from the North Carolina Tar Heels, South Carolina Game Cock Heath Hembree will play in Forest City this summer, as will Rich Racobaldo from the top ranked Trojans of Mount Olive College.

Owls Announce Summer Camp Dates
The Forest City Owls will hold a baseball skills camp this summer Monday June 16 through Thursday June 19 at McNair Field. The camp is open to anyone ages 6 through 14 years old. The camp will be staffed by Forest City Owls coaches and players who will give instruction on all areas of the game of baseball. The camp runs from 9 am through 12 noon on Monday through Wednesday, and from 9 am until 1 pm on Thursday.

“Hoot” Debuts as Owls Mascot
The Forest City Owls mascot “Hoot” has arrived in Forest City nearly two months ahead of the Owls first home game on May 29. Hoot will be a regular fixture at McNair Field this summer, as well as at events throughout Rutherford County.

Forest City has added another solid bat from the state of South Carolina to help bolster the team’s lineup. Bryan Fogle from Erskine College will bring his power-hitting approach to the Owls this summer in his first experience in summer collegiate baseball.

The Owls have signed a pair of standouts from the junior college ranks to play in the team’s inaugural season in Forest City. Nick Fuller and Will Skinner come to the Owls from across the state line where both play for the traditional junior college powerhouse Walter’s State. The duo look to provide strong depth on the mound as well as in the outfield for the Owls this summer.

Josh Drewery and Adam Bullard come to the Owls from across the county line where both star at Gardner-Webb University. The pair look to provide solid performances on the mound as well as in the field for the Owls this summer.
