The Forest City Owls and KidSenses Children’s Interactive Museum have partnered to present Owls Pals, the official kids club of the Forest City Owls. Owls Pals is open to anyone ages 6 to 12 and is $25 per child.

KidSenses Interactive Children’s Museum is located at 172 N. Main St. in Rutherfordton, N.C. KidSenses offers hands on exhibits in the areas of art, literacy, science, technology, culture and history, and seeks to instill in children and greater understanding of themselves and the world.

Benefits of being an Owls Pals member include a free general admission ticket to the Owls games on June 11, June 30, July 14, and July 28, a pregame picnic and meet the team party before the game on July 28, a gift pack including a t-shirt, and an Owls email newsletter. Owls Pals members will also receive $1 off general admission at KidSenses with their membership card, not applicable with any other discounts or offers.

In addition to partnering with KidSenses for the Owls Pals, Owls players will be at the interactive science museum on select days this summer to help children work their way through the activity stations. The Owls will also work to reinforce the diet and exercise portions of the curriculum that KidSenses covers.

“We are very excited about entering into this partnership with KidSenses” said Owls general manager James Wolfe. “We hope that our players’ involvement with the museum’s activities this summer will encourage the youth of Rutherford County to stay healthy by eating correctly and exercising regularly. We are also happy to offer the extra benefit of discounted admission to the museum to our Owls Pals members.”

Anyone interested in becoming an Owls Pals member can print a registration form, Owls_Pals.pdf, or call the Owls office at (828) 245-0000. Registration forms are also available at KidSenses. For more information on KidSenses visit http://www.kidsenses.com or call (828) 286-2120.
