The Owls have added two new players to our family. Dawson Taylor, a Boiling Springs, S.C. native, is a 6-0 215-pound freshman left-handed pitcher from North Greenville University. In the state of South Carolina, Taylor attended Boiling Springs High School. In his career at Boiling Springs High School, he achieved the 15th ranking among all high school players along with being ranked the 8th best left-handed pitcher in the state of South Carolina. In 2018, Taylor was named to the Herald-Journal/Go UpState All-Area Second Team. During his time at North Greenville University, Taylor will be pursuing a major in sports management.
Also added is Nicholas Hyde, a Mount Pleasant, S.C. native, is a 6-0 185-pound freshman right-handed pitcher from Western Carolina University. In the state of South Carolina, Hyde attended Oceanside Collegiate High School. During his career here, he achieved the 21st ranking among all high school players along with being ranked the 6th best right-handed pitcher in the state of South Carolina. In 2017, Hyde was named to the Perfect Game Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect list.

And we are thrilled to announce that the Coastal Plain League's 2019 All-Star Garrett Blaylock, who led the Coastal Plain League in homeruns, will be returning for our 2020 season.
